Drip, Drip Of Falling Rain

April 10, 2013

Water and Iguana ~ photo by Patrice

Drip, drip of falling rain
Settles deep down the drain.

Is my life like that rain?

Have I flushed myself away?

Can I grasp strands of grace, gratitude
Interspersed with love
Pulling up myself to stay
in a world not only to survive
But live a life
Where I don’t want to die.

Cherished Deep Within My Arms

April 9, 2013

Grape Hyacinths ~ photo by Patrice

Cherished deep within my arms
A love so true and so strong.

Held tightly never to let go
Held near but must let it grow.

Love is dear and that strong
Will survive even if it’s very wrong.

Cherished love does hold the key
To all that’s strong
Deep within my loving arms.

Faldo Came To Me Last Night

April 8, 2013

Faldo ~ GSCC Championship 2004

Faldo came to
me.
last night

Showed me
things
I thought
were not
right.

Then he made
me see
they were alright.

Yes
Faldo came to me
last night.

Have I Been Honest?

April 7, 2013

Have I been honest?
Have I been right?
Doesn’t matter it’s working tonight.

Isn’t it funny and mostly alright
Why not wander
To the far side of happy tonight?

Crocus About To Bloom

April 6, 2013

Spring Crocus ~ photo by Patrice

Crocus about to bloom
Springing from the doom
Coming up
Amongst the snow
Blooms of white
Lavender grow
So it won’t be long
Til we see
All those blooms
From here to eternity.

I Look Around And See

April 5, 2013

Nuthatch ~ photo by Patrice

I look around and see
Exotic birds flying
Pass me
Bluejay, nuthatch
And chickadees
With a house wren
Every now and then.

While a cardinal
Sings a song
I don’t recall just now
I see a hummingbird
Hovering all around
Of me.

Ah, the beauty
The beauty
That surrounds me.

Flowing Down The Countryside

April 4, 2013

Farm view ~ photo by Patrice

Flowing down the countryside
Blessings caress the morning side
As I see beauty here and beyond
The gently flowing bush and trees.

Diva’s Words

April 3, 2013

Diva's Words ~ photo by Patrice

My journey here may
Soon be done
But all the joy and happiness
Filled with love will live
Will live forever on.

I won’t forget you
Have no regrets
For I have loved
And you were the one.

Honesty, devotion
Are just a few
Of the emotions
I have towards you.

No harshness did I feel
Only love in this life
This life I shared
And lived with you.

So on your journey
You must go
And let it be known
By your side
I’ll be forever, ever more.

Tenderness, Sweetness, Butternut Squash

April 2, 2013

Tenderness, sweetness, butternut squash
Mystery in giving not taking back
Flowing freely
Never ever looking back.

Dogma facilitates masking slack
Not telling the truth
Only giving back.

We are one
With what we are
Shovelling shit, taking pills
For now we are feeling
Feeling bizarre.

Will this help us
Find the tenderness we crave?
Or feel sweetness, butternut squash
So far, far far away.

Tension In Muscles

April 1, 2013

Tension in muscles
Stress in life
Munster the cannons
Bring it all back to life.

So be it in delusion
So be it in life.

Strive to know the difference
And let go of the tension
Let it not take over
That beautiful life.
