Happy Easter each and everyone!
Pass the gravy
Lets start to celebrate
And have some fun.
Rejoice in family
On this Easter Sunday
Full of love
For each and everyone.

Everyone should be aware
Of what’s around
And
What’s out there.

Another mouse
Inside the house
Caught by just his tail
Tried to run
That son of a gun
But the clatter left a trail.
Caught like a rat
In a trap
How could I let him go?
That I did
Outside in the cold blue snow
I did, I really did let him go.
If he lives is up to him
For it’s not
For me to know
I just let a mouse
That was in the house
I just let him go.
So if you see a mouse
With tape upon his tail
He is the one I did let go!

Some birds are strange to me
The ones at the feeder I see
Nose, two ears and four feet
Beneath of thee.
Whatever ever type of bird could they be?
A deer?
A deer you say
Stealing seed
Right in front of me!
But the way they fly
Over fence and hill
They must have gained
A little ‘Bird’
In their birdseed fill.
I will watch until the spring
When the feeder is no longer
Filled with magic seeds
That make a doe
Into this strange bird
I see flying over fence and hill.

She’s coming home
I’ll pick her up
No more alone
Forever to stay here
Here at home.
May have sadness
Remorse and regrets
But she will lay
In peace and happiness
Forever, ever to be missed
My sweet
Sweet little miss.
Her soft, rough fur
Her gentle brown, caring eyes
Her tail that never wags
No barks, no romping
A smile upon her sweet face
I may see no more.
But home you’ll be
Home with me
Forever
Evermore.

Winter’s cold can be a blight
Forcing sensitive to be uptight
Shivering, shaking lost control
Looking for a soft, warm cozy hole.
Howling wind does not let up
Whipping tender
Devouring them up.
Sun is bright but freezing cold
Touching frost
With icicles dripping
Froze.
Marching thru at its own rate
Making us appreciate
Spring’s thaw
Yes
No one can really wait.

May my soul find the secrets
Hidden deep in my heart
May the pleasure never
Ever, ever depart.
May I find justice
For the things unfairly done
And may the sun shine
On all those I love
Each and everyone.
May I find the strength
To stand up straight
And not waiver
In the thoughts
That can make me see
Greatness
Greatness in all of thee.
Yes
May my soul believe
And see
All that is wondrous
In this secret place
Called me.

No more to hear
That groan of frustration
And indignation at my stupidity
No more.
No more racing, running
Chasing those damn cats
Or playing just for fun
No More.
No more glare
Of stubbornness
With the “I’ll do it if I want to”
And
“You can’t make me” look
No More.
No more timid look of
“Do you love me too?”
No more cuddles on the sofa
No more smile of pleasure
With the “They Love me too!” look
No more.
No more
silent understanding or sharing
With her
‘Best Friend Ever’
No more.
No more silly pranks
Or giving of the paw
No more.
No more looking
Into those bright brown eyes
No more stroking
That rakish soft coat
No more.
No more the belief that
Love alone can save a soul
No more.
All that is left is
No more. No more.
