My heart
soars
my life does live
I’ll be here
till
the long, dark night
bids
Come live
in
a wondrous dream
Where you’ll forever
live
forever more.

Heaven Knows But Doesn’t Tell
October 29, 2024
Heaven knows
but
doesn’t tell
secrets
from the universe
nor
the past
as well.
Maybe it’s for the best
maybe then
we’ll forge ahead
bask
in the brightness
of those things
that
she does speak of
those things she tells
so well.

Never Said
October 28, 2024
Never said
I would be
all
I could
exceptionally.
No, I didn’t believe
that
you’d take my word
for what
was to happen
what
was to be.
Never said
either
that all life
would be
easy.

You Have The Answer
October 25, 2024
You have the answer
You have the way
To bring joy and happiness
Into this world
Making a better place
Now and everyday.
No words of commitment
No promises uttered
In any way
Just moving forward
Taking each and every step
Accomplishing a better day.

Can I
October 24, 2024
Can I
feel, see
the end coming
or
what was
my beginning?
Can I
live in reality
being happy
or just
whining, complaining
full of misery?
No answers come
Cause
I’ve already made
the decision
to live my life
as
best I can
can be.

Gone Are The Times
October 23, 2024
Gone are the times
I used to know
fell
like leaves
in the fall.
Memories only
nothing
at all
of this time I’m living
living right now.

Holy Be Excited
October 22, 2024
Holy be excited
I see the world
Turn
Giving answers
To
Questions
That were
To me
Such a concern.

Sometimes
October 21, 2024
Sometimes
Sometimes you want
someone
to notice, to see
to
celebrate you.
Sometimes
Sometimes you don’t care
But
Sometimes
Sometimes you do.

Dead Leaves Fall
October 18, 2024
Dead leaves fall
Blowing
In the breeze
Falling to the grass
Floating
In the stream.
Dead leaves fall
Gathering
On the deck
And
Beneath barren trees.
Dead leaves fall
While children
Laugh
As they frolic in those
Now dead leaves.
That fell
That
Fall.

Slowly I Head For The Open Gate
October 17, 2024
Slowly
I head for the open gate
the door is
open
I must not wait.
Time will come
I’ll be gone
then
someone else
will guide you thru
that
open gate.
Safe, secure
you will follow me
into
what becomes
our true destiny.
