breathe light

the engine roar
the smoke billow
and
fly high
up into the air
high
up to the sky
I see people laughing
cordially
taking steps to be
in the midst
of
everything
I feel excitement
racing
round the curves
down
the track
in
anticipation
of
who’s to win
The first
to cross the finish line
the one I know
all
will celebrate and cheer
The one
who’s
the winner.
That’s what I do hear.
