You see I didn’t know
Just what was going to be
You see I never have known
All the intricacies
Of where life began
Or where you and I come from.
But then what difference
Would it make if I knew
The answers all summed up
Displayed in one large lump sum
On the wall, a mathematical equation
Of where you and I come from.

Treasure the life it lives
But most of all

Foreboding clouds
Moving in the sky
Forecasting things to come
A tear will cry
Hearts will be forsaken
A way of life will die.

When I look out and see magnificence and beauty
I wonder
Why heartbreak has to be.

No longer loitering not defined
Pursue your dreams, be not dismayed
For in your heart your mind will play.

Frosting all way down the lane
No one sees, no one does
Know the answers
Of this unconditional love.

Did you see me?
Were you able to tell me
All that needs to be said
All that is held close
No heartache, no dread.
Did you see me?
Did you feel my heart skip a beat
My breath intake
When I looked
Looked at all the beauty.
Did you see me?
Will you help me
Climb into the highest sky
Gliding thru heavy laden clouds
Knowing all will be well
Breathing in, breathing out.

It makes me mad
Crazy in my thoughts
No hugging
Loving caring thoughts
Just crazy mad
Is all I’ve got.

In the sacrifices
I thought I needed to be free
No sudden anger, no hallowed ground
Just loneliness, sadness
These friends I seem to keep
Around.

Today is your last day.
What would you say?
Where would you go?
What would you see?
Would it be beauty
Or misery?
I don’t know
Can’t see
But hope I’d make it
The best day to last me
