When Everything Is Obscure

When everything is obscure
Upside down
In the loo
How can I think
Pleasant thoughts
Laugh or cry with hilarity?

Nope
Not happening

Crushed, lonely
I trudge ahead
Feeling chains
Of impending dread
A smile cannot cross
My doomed face
All joy is gone
It’s been erased.

Why I live
Why I die
An answer comes
Slowly
As I cry.

Seeing The Answer

Seeing the answer brings
Soft acceptance of everything
No wondering
Or asking anything.

All there in front of me
To embrace or leave behind
It’s nothing.

The answer comes
Bringing with it my heart’s question
About everything.
