Never known where I belong
Seems to me my whole family
Is just wrong.
Why? Why?
Neither does my love’s
Seem willing to embrace
Me strong.
Why? Why?
I don’t know where I belong
Wherever I go
The same seems to apply.
Why? Why?
Am I from another earth?
Do I belong in a time
Gone by?
Can’t say
Don’t know what’s wrong.
Or should I just understand
The world belongs to those
That accept different as they are
Part of the woven web
Is what we are.
We belong, we belong
I now know where it is I belong.

Thoughts and memories
Come into my head
Some beautiful
Some filled with dread.
I think of them and then
Let those memories go
Back to the place where
All memories need to go.
There to stay til drawn again
To the front of my mind
To relive and live
Those memories one moe time
One moe time again.

Intelligently bright and just right
For the discussion I’m having
With myself tonight.

The fight is on
Foes look eye to eye
No backing down
No clowning round.
Serious words uttered
Marching feet make
The ground shutter.
The sun looks dim
Trying to hide behind
Dark clouds that weep within.
No winners allowed
Only brave hearts move forward
No matter the thoughts
Indecisive or strong.
There is no right
There is no wrong.

At one time she was here
Right beside of me.
She kept me company
Laughed and made me see
The happy, caring way
Just what I need.
But yesterday
She left, she left me

Will anyone listen

That now lasts and ever lasts?
What will I do if the words
I spoke prove to be untrue
Will I cry
Will I speak of why?
Don’t know the answers
To those questions
Illuminating my mind.
Only know
I speak the words
That fill my questioning mind.
