Wondering how I could be?
Is your first thought in the morning about me?
Your last question as your eyes fall asleep
Is it, is it all about me?
I didn’t think so
I knew it wouldn’t be
Cause I never think of you

You don’t know me.

The hope I had
the hope
I say
will take me thru
this day, all days.
I don’t
have to say
a word out loud
or
think the feeling
but
send it
up to the clouds
where rain will bring it
down
upon all creatures
big and small
giving hope
to today
and
forever to us all.

just a little spoke

all the world’s happenings.
This I know

When
I look back
I see a life so different
so not
the present me
My heart
beats
my eyes see
but
not the way
the way it use to be
Maybe
I’ve grown
maybe I’ve lived
different lives
from an enfant
to
that young girl
oh so lost, asking why
Then
I seen my life
my existence
in a frame
of nature’s beauty
full of kindness
and
singing so sweet
It became the basis
of
how I live
how
I enjoy and love
Letting go
of
anger
sadness so bleak
those things lived
back there
in
yesterday
Those things I now do not seek.
