When
I look back
I see a life so different
so not
the present me
My heart
beats
my eyes see
but
not the way
the way it use to be
Maybe
I’ve grown
maybe I’ve lived
different lives
from an enfant
to
that young girl
oh so lost, asking why
Then
I seen my life
my existence
in a frame
of nature’s beauty
full of kindness
and
singing so sweet
It became the basis
of
how I live
how
I enjoy and love
Letting go
of
anger
sadness so bleak
those things lived
back there
in
yesterday
Those things I now do not seek.

I seek to find
Meaning, strength in the path
I take, the people I meet
Making it the best I can

My only life.
This is my prayer

I will take it take it to the top
Surpass all the rest
Going to
The highest heights.

There seems
not to be
a lot of sense, logic
nor
harmony
basking itself
in
sunny beauty.
All that seems
to exist
is
anger
hatred and strife
screaming obscenities
throughout
the long cold, horrid night.
Let me
feel
the gift of love
enveloped
in
beauty, happiness
near
people who care.
Not those who
only seek
to
destroy.
Oh please, please
let me.
