Thinking back
Thinking of things
That
Could have
Changed my life
Way back
In the midst
Of
Everything.
Not sure
If changing would have been
Better
Or
Maybe worse.
But then
I’ll never know
For
I didn’t do
Those changes
Those thinking of everything
Things.

Holding on, being right
Right on the path
To heaven
Surrounded by all things
Heavenly and bright.
Feel the glow
See the bright light
Know that going forward
Will enable you
To be all that you desire
All you need
Today, tonight.

So long ago
I wrote my lines of love for you
So long ago
I lived my life for you
So long ago
I found I didn’t know you
So long ago
I left, left before you left me too
So long ago, so long ago
I loved you.

No one can, can be
no one can see
things the same
same
as you or me.
Travel through life
live as well as you can
smile
be the best possible
as only you
you can.

You haven’t been
The best person I’ve ever seen
But
Have become
The best person that you need to be.
Kind, generous and sympathetic
You are
You be.
No one else is the same as you
You are the best
The best
You can and need to be.

No one believes
And
I can’t see
The solution, the remedy
To
What ails the world
And
Unfortunately me.

Seek to find
The answer
Pleased
To know today
I have
The directions
To navigate all obstacles
To journey
Find my way.

This morning comes alive
Breathing new life
In the day
The moment
Throughout all waking hours
To
Evening night.
Never speaking
Of
What must be done
What should be
Left behind.
Only moving through
The day
Bringing everything
To evening
Where to rest, sleep
In the quiet
Peaceful night.

Hold me close
Don’t let me be
Sacrificed
To the dragons of eternity.
Let me see
Beauty, harmony
In the world all around
Surrounding me.
Cherish, nurture those that grow
In the shadow of greatness
Growing as they must
All alone.
But
Lovingly supported
By me, by us that hold them
Forever close.

Cannot see
Nor
Can I feel
The essence of the world
All seems so
Very, very still.
I wonder why
I ask the question
To the quiet presence
But
Still, still.
Nothing says
The why
Nor can I feel
All is
Very, very still.
