All the things you did to me
I left them in the trash
Garbage
Now to me.
No more will I cry
Remorsefully
No more will I be held
Captive
By those things
You did to me.
My life is better now
The sun shines on a spirit
Free of anger
Love is the feeling
I feel here
Inside of me.

Wondrous

I’ve heard, I have seen
Things so wondrous
Just can’t believe.
Trees growing
living being coming to life
in the spring
bearing fruit summer
in between falls to winter
when they seem to be
sleeping.
One wonder to behold
to be seen
may be ordinary
but
if you stop, look and listen
miraculous it will become
wondrous it will seem.
