Reset my life in an instant
Like a roll of the dice
Never knowing where it’s going
Never understanding
Where I’ve just been
I’m here, moving
Going forward
With a smile and a grin.

Taking a break
Going to wait til I feel
My thoughts are revived.
Will think of you still
But just not writing until
I feel an inspiring thought.

Poetry
Taken from the pages
Of anarchy
Full in the hearts of subtlety
Showing no malice is
Poetry.
Poetry
Why have you come
To be my destiny?
Nothing matters but
The throes of the heart in
Poetry.
Poetry
Anger, passion, full
Of the vacant sound coming
From that original sin
Even then
Blessed is the heart
That changes history with
Poetry.
Poetry
No one can know what
Could have been
My heart, my love and
All life has been and now
Come be within
Poetry.

Lost
In the midst of a crowd
Lost
Focus on what is just my job
Lost
In a world full of nothing sane
Lost
To my friends, my family
Lost
Everything dear to me
But
This I know
I’ve not lost me.

Precious little
Comes to mind
When I hold the world
So divine.
Precious little
Crosses my mind as flowers bloom
Streams run wild
Mountains are so fine.
Precious little
Is on my mind
I can’t decide whether to run away
Relish or to hide.
Precious little
Is mine
Mine to decide.

Long ago, far away
A heart was broke
He did not stay
To weep or cry
Nor brush sad tears away.
Crushed
A fool she thought
Then sat
Laughed
Brushed her own tears
Away.
No fool was she
No clown performing
For vacant love
He, he was the one
A fool for leaving
Not loving her.
He turned
He walked away
Never knowing what
He could have had
He walked away.

We are in a deep freeze
A deep, deep freeze
Cold does not cover what it is
Breath taken away
Frozen in a frigid atmosphere.
Those you hold dear
Should not be out or near
Frozen
Smother instead with warm
Blankets of unfrozen love.
Polar bear cold
Things are froze
No one knows how deep
Or long it will go
Don’t know.
Please no longer than a sleep
Let it creep back up
Let us experience heat
No more deep, deep freeze
Oh please some heat!

I will tell you when
I need to know
All the things that didn’t show
The world in it’s best light
Lived, lost
Wandered in the night.
Now my soul doesn’t like
To be left alone
Holding tight to a time
When love was free
Joyous, happy
All of these.
I will live on in life
Munster much, avoid most strife
Come to be the answer
I need to know
The answer I’ll tell you then
When I know.
