My heart does sing
A song so pretty
Blossoms bloom
Grass grows
And
Birds sing
For the song
Sung
Doesn’t weep
but reaches, holds up with strength
All that’s needed
To keep the earth whole
Skies blue
Stars shining
And
Waters running
For they too
Sing
Such a lovely song
Of grace, beauty
And
Sincere gratitude.

I saw your breath breathe
My fingers touched your lips
My hands caressed your feet.
As my soul touched yours
I knew, knew there was
No where else in this world
I need be or rather go.

Feeling confident
They all

Makes no difference

Back from where it came
That place
No one knows.
It’s filled with many thoughts
That if I hold, they’d grow
Into vast extravagances
Never thought before
Never told.

Heaven told me not to tell
About the kind gestures
You gave to all that needed love
So I didn’t
I didn’t tell
Instead
I held you in my arms’ embrace
To let you know as well
You are loved
You are needed
But
Please don’t tell
For heaven needs you
Heaven wants you
There
To do your work of kindness
Cause
You do it oh so well.

Nothing to say, not today
No one comes, no one says
Anything relevant or astute
But then
I look outside and see
The world in all it’s beauty
Snow drifting by
Trees standing proud
Birds flying round
That’s when I realize
There’s nothing more to say
It’s already said
I just need to sit back
Enjoy this spectacular scene
This journey, this ride
I’m lost for words
My heart does sigh
It sees all, it seems.

Morning doves and evening grosbeaks
Ever wonder why the names they got
What they seek?
And how come blue jays cry?
While chickadees speak
Crows caw?
Truth is, that too
We don’t know why.
