Will I reveal the face
I know I’ve been?
Will the lines of tomorrow
Be etched
Across my taunt skin?
Will the ones
That happened yesterday
Be still there
In a full or forced grin?
I don’t know the answer

Are our thoughts real
Or dreams we lived
In bed at night
Moving thru
An existence surreal
Living as life.
Are the things we see
Real or imagery
Will they move in life
Or just be known
Seen
In the realm of night.

The worst is over
The healing begins to mend
Silently
We hold one another
We know we are together
Once again.
No one will break us apart
No, never again
Will we be so bitter, angry
With one another
For the healing, the mending
Now begins.

Riley passed away
yesterday
his beating heart stopped
his breath ceased to be
only memories
memories that is all we have
you see.
A gentle, kind, wondrous guy
knowing, knowledgeable
a smile on his face
devoted beyond belief
this was Riley
who now has been.
He passed away, passed away
yesterday
rest in peace sweet Riley
you were loved and loved
unconditionally.

How did you rationalize
All the people breaching
The Capital building
Yesterday?
Nothing, no one
Can make it seem right
in
Today
Tomorrow
or
Yesterday.

Have I been helpful, have I’ve been the best?
Looking back upon the year
What would I change, what would I let rest?
No time to dwell, no time for remorse
For I must move forward, look ahead
To the year yet to unfold
And
Anticipate it to be full of wonders
Yet to be told.

Of deep depression

Will the sun shine again
Will the streets flow with laughter
Will things
Be ever right

the world
in a place divine
No hatred
killing
ever creeping slime
Caring places all
on the pedestal of sincere
and right
Full of joy
laughter
cuddling thru the night
This is where I want to be
this is how
all things should turn
A place I’ll seek, I’ll look
I’ll find
in a world most divine.
