I wonder what the bird will sing
What beauty it’s song will bring
To a world desperate
For happy, caring feelings.
Will it create a place so safe
Warm and secure
That no longer feelings
Of anger and hate will permeate.
I wonder what that song will be
What melody, I don’t know
But I’ll listen to every note
That bird sings with such beauty.

I feel your heart
Your quiet strength
I walk aside your silent figure
Not alone.
No words spoken
No hand is touched
But there beside me
My father walks.

Flowing freely on the flow
Floating softly across the sky
Walking slowly around the bend
The funny thing is no one
Knows where I’ve been.

Functioning on a level
That will succeed
No need to look back
Nor to the side
For me.
Forward is the way
To go
Bringing with me
Those I love
And most of all
I need.

No one speaks
No one says
The words that will condemn
The dead
To a life lived in after death
Of misery. anger
No justice.
Instead hands hold out
Gentle love
Make the world a happy place
Make the universe
A living, breathing
Wondrous space.
Where hearts are held
Close with care
No one dies
They live forever
In our hearts
In a heaven
Made right here.

No way to stay
Near heaven’s breath
All seems lost
Forever
Gone away.
Then storm clouds break
Heavens open, shining bright
All worries lift, they have gone
Now
My soul is heaven bound.

I will walk at your side
together
we will face the heartache
and
come out the other side.

My hearts a mess
There is no rest
No peace, no quiet.
Racing, racing on
Racing fast
How will I ever last?
When can I see
Peace
Quiet and dignity?
When will I feel
My heart pump
A slow, soft, quiet thump?
Can’t hold on
Can’t see
How I got here, how to leave.
All I see is
My hearts a mess
There is no rest, that’s all, all I see.

Hasn’t questioned, hasn’t asked
For she already knows
She has made it come to pass.
