Will it affect the rest?

What will come to be?
Wondering
What will happen to me?
– No answers come but still –
Still I’m wondering.

Procrastination, procrastinating
Get it done now
– maybe
Guilty, guilty, guilty
See it done later
– maybe
In the meantime
I’m sure
– positive
I’m not lazy
Just don’t want to do it now
– too busy
If I put it off
I’ll always have something to do
– crazy

See it done later
– maybe.

I’ll take a stand
And hold still
No breath will breathe
No heart beat
Only sounds are my feet
Standing still, holding fast
Protecting all
That must now last.
Then the gull cries
Mustering forces
That heed that shrieking call
Not forlorn, not alone
I stand, holding still
Upright, strong and tall
We’re together
And together we will conquer all.

The eyes see
The hands hold
As
The mind finds beauty.

Did you see the beauty
Reigning all around me?
Did you see the magnificence
Holding me
Embracing me?
Did you see the soul
Who told me
I was loved unconditionally?
Did you see, did you see?

The heart is mended, the life is fine
No thought is taken
Of what happened back in time.
Moving forward, risking not
Becoming ice
In a land that’s hot.
Then in the midst of emptiness
She dares, she dreams
she dreams a lot.

Dreadful thoughts
Lead the way
In the morning
Throughout the day
My purpose it seems
Is to take
Those awful thoughts away.
Put them in a place
They can’t speak
Can’t have their say
Those dreadful thoughts
Which are just a heartbeat
A moment
A thought away.

A little mess was made
And yet the consequences
Were not staged
They came in rolling waves
Bringing pain
Then peace
Breaking on the cheek
Grinding all the way
To aching, hurtful feet
Not sure what to do
Comfort, scold or
let be, let do
The consequences
When
A little mess is made.

Living, doing the best
That I can
No looking back
Nor focused
On what’s ahead
Staying in the moment
Knowing it’s where
I should be
Instead.

The silly head
