Hydro off, gone somewhere.
So hot most likely up in the stratosphere
Cooling off, taking a break
Maybe even a dip in the lake.
Murphy’s Law, it makes sense
On the hottest day in recorded time
Hydro would once again let us down
They warned us — “Don’t use too much”
On and on, harping ever on this theme song.
Maybe could it be just the area
Where wind farms are affected be?
Take the windmills
Shove them down our throats
No matter that death, injury
And illness comes as they encroach.
Conspiracy could it be?
Hydro off, gone somewhere
On this the hottest day of the year.

Stony heartache, desperate longing
Manufacturing life in a realm of belonging
Don’t be deceived, keep your focus
On what is right
Journeying thru the darkness
Well into night.
Born to believe
In the goodness of life
Never deviate from the path
That is absolutely right
Down the trail which holds you
Be it left or right.
Take the way
That in your heart
You know must be
The only one to lead
To the holy altar
Of serendipity.

These few days will be dedicated to those we loved and passed last week.
Sadden thoughts come to mind
Memories of a better time
When you were young and I carefree
Never thinking of what may be.
Over now all sadness, struggles hard
You have gone to join the gallant lad
Who stole your heart so long ago
And paved the way for you to know.
The way is pure and clear
God Bless
We will miss you Peggy dear.

Thank you for this life forever
Alone it never would have happened
Alone it never would have been
Thank you from the depths of life
My existence in this
The realm of life supreme.

Fireflys dance in the dark
Coyotes cry of times long gone
The joy that darkness hides
Envelopes and keeps me warm.
In a state of wonder
Of night’s magic
While bats circle and dive
And deer silently pass
Through willows
Into the eery moonlight.
Where the night holds
All that dance far into the night
In the dark
The dark wondrous night.

A blackbird feeds her young a minnow
A red squirrel munches on maple keys
Hummingbirds buzz from iris to honeysuckle
Thunder clouds roar and march across land
Green, busy, full of promise in this heaven we see.

Thunderous moments, mighty strides
Duck in the canyon, there to hide
Treacherous humans hunting like vermin
Taking away freedom and all thats pure.
Nothing is sacred, nothing survives
This frightening roundup
Of all who live wild
On the edge of a continent
Where mighty exists
In thunderous moments, mighty strides.
Muscles ripple, hooves stomp anger
Noses blow warning, run for your life.
Hope for the best
And a gentle caress of one you love
In thunderous moments, mighty strides.

The easy way out.
Duck the clout and measure
The distance to get out.
Don’t hesitate and ponder
What it’s all about.
Just duck
Duck and get out.
The reasons are many
The answers few
Don’t worry what’s right
Worry about you.
Survive another day
Cause it’s all about you
That’s what it’s about.
Take the easy way out.
