You don’t know and I won’t tell
The secrets kept
That do dwell deep beneath the sky
In plain sight
But blind to the naked, uncaring eye.
See you when your heart opens up
Your eyes do speak
And your mouth remains shut
Then you’ll know
The secrets I speak about
Then we’ll laugh and dance about.

Holding on, holding tight
Throughout the dark, scary night
No remorse, no justifying
Just being there
Feeling feelings of despair
Knowing in my heart
I will survive.
In the morning once again
Come alive
Live the day in happiness
Breathe breath of gladness
Preparing for the night
Gathering round
Holding on, holding tight
This is
Has become my life.

Courtesy comes
And
Does live
In the heart of heaven
I know it is.
I can see it happening
I can feel the bliss
Here beside me
In this, this life
I live.

Nobody does nor do they see
The hurt, anger seething inside of me.
Can’t keep it in, can’t let it out
Fighting, wrestling my emotions about.
Will something happened
To change all this?
Will I find happiness, joy, and bliss?
Nobody knows nor do they see

All you love
All that you think
You should have been.
But that doesn’t matter
That’s not the thing
For you see
You are perfect
You are everything.

Not saying I am right
Just living life to the fullest
Able to rest, to sleep tonight.

No one knows
How much I need
They don’t see
My insecurity, my vulnerability
I keep it secret
I keep it close to me
For to expose it
Would only put me more
More in need.

The difference in the land, the sea
It seems to me
They are all the same
Same as you, as me.
Flowing, growing
Living life as best
They can.
Just like you, just like me.

I must be
Like you
Loving, caring
Full of beauty, curiosity.
