When I see you dancing
all around

a song
of ecstasy
Your heart will comply with beats
I feel inside
me
Your feet, your feet

in such a happy way
Your eyes will see
me
no longer sad
nor lonely
Only filled
with the deepest love
now
that you’re here

I don’t write
I clear my head
of
the thoughts
swirling round
coming from those
that
are dead.
They need to say
to
ones alive
“I love you
I’ll help you through life
you will survive”
Sometimes
they’re kind
sometimes they’re sweet
sometimes though
they say
what needs to be said
to help
loved ones
get back up
on
their feet.
I thank them
for
coming
I appreciate they do
cause I too benefit
from
their words
that may be written
just for you.

I see you looking
looking back over
just at me
The waves roll in
and
back out again
bringing with them
a message from overseas
a message
you sent just for me
In my thoughts I touch your lips
say words of love
then send them
on the wind
over water, overseas
to you with love
just from me.

not

you loved the most
is broken
shattered in a million pieces
No way to make it whole
no way
unless you’re back
back to me
to
forever stay

to
the kind words
given me
beneath the blue
blue sky
Words
so needed
words so wise
I’ll listen
to
and
so graciously reply.

to see
trees sway
on the wind
howling
through the quiet basin
Silent they are
but
not forbidden
to feel
or
move in rhythm.

enveloping
me

wrapped around me
I need to know
you’re behind, backing
me
For you see
I’m in a awful place
can’t see
a way out
no saving grace
Still I hope with you
beside me
with everything in place

you’ll hold me in your heart
you’ll be
my saving grace.

hurts

not the best thing
to hear.
Sometimes its good
to accept the truth
as it is
as it seems.
Sometimes you can
make the truth
the truth you need
to embrace
and
to believe.
