Days go by
nights seem
to melt into nothingness
where nothing lives
nothings been.
Still you’re on my mind
and I have seen
there’s a chance
you’ve heard my voice

I live, I love
I am
a human being.

time

you need to know
to
get through
just
another day
I won’t say
anything nasty
I won’t get in the fray
but
I will tell you
you need
to
be happy
even if
no one else
can see your smile

their melancholy sound

Throughout the valley
and
mountains all around
Sending messages, greetings
and words of sadness
so profound

into small spaces
it’s refreshing water
drips
drops
Onto parched lips
it’s taste
not
forgot
Growing strong
pouring down
windswept landscapes
feel
as if they’ve been
drowned
Then with a quiet stop
all you hear
is
drip
drop.
