No one goes down the road
I need to go
no one sees the things I see

no one feels
the pain
the shame I can’t conceal
I’m sure
no one does
But up above, surrounding me
is a presence that I know
I feel, I see
holds,
embraces me
Guiding me throughout
this perilous journey
like no one else ever does
