Seeking answers
Trying to find
My way through
The sadness
I feel here in my mind.
Rain cries tears
From
My mournful eyes
My lips form words
I hope won’t make me cry.
And my feet
My feet run
As fast as they can
From the hurt, anger
I know, I feel
I have.
The only thing left
Is for me to abide
Hopefully tomorrow
The sun will shine
And
The only blue
will be in the skies.

Comings and goings
Will always be
Bringing good, leaving bad to be
Somewhere
That can’t hurt one lonely soul
Who needs comfort
Love and security.

Know much of anything
We think we do
We’re sure
Absolutely sure we do.
But
The truth is
It’s not much
At all.
If we look to the skies
The ground beneath our feet
Do we know what’s there
Where it lives, forms and dies?
We don’t know
We really

Much of anything.

Anger boils, seethes deep within
Harbouring frustration
Never to be rectified
Only to
Start all over again.
Piece together the reason why
Look it straight
Straight
In the face, the eye
Don’t deny.
Then let it go
Let it pass
It’ll not be part of you
Unless
Unless you ask.

What must be done

The day
Bringing everything
To evening
Where to rest, sleep
