the heavenly
has us in their hands
guiding us
through
the darkest night.

That do dwell deep beneath the sky
In plain sight
But blind to the naked, uncaring eye.
See you when your heart opens up
Your eyes do speak
And your mouth remains shut
Then you’ll know
The secrets I speak about
Then we’ll laugh and dance about.

The answers to all

Has been.
Neither
Have I
None have seen
But
No matter.
We continue on
We trust we’ll know
When
The time is right
The hour has been.

You don’t know
what makes me tick
all is hidden deep
beneath the facade
I keep.
Private, personal that’s where
I live
hoping fervently
you don’t peek beneath
my closed lid.
Which slams shut
whenever
I think someone’s too close
to see my flaws
secrets I keep, hide
I live.
