Making decisions
Some I don’t like
Making them in darkness
And board daylight.
Answering all questions
That’ll make things right
Make people believe in me
Today, tonight.
I don’t have all answers
Still decisions
Decisions will be made
By tonight.

Furious and bitter
Mad and angry
Hate the controlling people
Who try to control
Me.
Their ashes and residue
Spewing forth
Needless discord, no harmony.
Angry
I’m angry
Angry at me.

The sun rises bringing light
To the darkness
Shrouded in the night.
Exposing goodness
Brightness
And
Healing light.
The way is lit for those
Lost in the darkness
Of an unforgiving night.
No one knows
From where it comes
Or where it goes
When we sleep at night.
It just appears
Bringing
Glorious morning light.

The beauty of a sunset
Filtered sun falling thru
The splendour of the sea
Nothing can impress
Like the world around of me.
No one will see the ugly
No one can forsaken me
For in my opinion
My heart is an untold wonder story
That I’m settling down to read.

Let the memories thrive
In my head, my heart
Our lives.
Let them not control
The moments now
Nor allow me to live a lie.
But exist with their thoughts
To survive, to strive
To be alive.

Soldiers march
Feet hitting the ground
Sending thunder, fear
That does resound
In a heart filled in ache
Pity and pain
All those things not needed
But
Unfortunately
Part of the refrain.

My pen never questions
The words I put down.
Anyone can use
My pen
It doesn’t care but writes
What the fingers share.
My pen
Follows along
Putting down the thoughts
Without it the words would
Be long, long gone.
My pen
Is always there
Then its done
And I get another one
My pen.
