May the sun shine bright
On the season
May joy and happiness
Be yours tonight.
May your heart be filled
With all things glorious
May you feel love
Tonight.

I don’t know
Nor will I be
Entrenched in anything
Filled with misery
I won’t call
Weep or wail
Sad words
They won’t prevail.
Marching on
Marching forward
Taking positive
Shielding my soul
From all
Nothing more
Than
A coward.
See that light
Feel it fill the sky
Warm my heart
Pour radiance
Throughout the world
Bring glad tears
Healing
To my eyes.

In loving memory of Wanda, Siegrun and all those that we have lost in this year ❤️❤️❤️

When I think all is lost
You come and hold me.
You give me strength
When I feel so weak
You give me hope
A chance to speak
The words that heal me.
My heart’s not broken
It mends, it sees me
Go ahead with life
With you beside me.
~ Patrice

I may no longer
Be firmly in your presence
I may be a memory now
Only a thought
A time in your life.
But I’m still here
In that thought
or a glint in your eye
A soft word spoken
To show, to guide.
No longer can I caress
With a hand you can see
But I’m here
Feel my breath as the breeze
Blows gently
That’s me.
Hear my heart
Now silent beat
When you see
A beautiful flower
A tree bend in the wind
Hear me.
No sad words need to be said
Over top of the berth
I now call my bed
For I have gone
To a place full of grace.
Kindness, radiant
Loving light fill this world
I’m now in
Gentle ones share, care
They hold me in.
Please don’t despair
Because I’m no longer there
In a form you’ve known
For I’m here
I’m still here.

Show me if I’m right
And even if
I’m wrong.
Let the path direct me
Where I need to be
Right or wrong.
See the skies
Hold me on the earth
So strong.
And when my days
Are finished
Carry my soul to that world
Where I belong.

What will be the answer
what will happen here
will we rejoice with happiness
or
will all wonder disappear?
So many gone
so
many not here
I wonder what the answer is
and
will I be able to accept
what I hear?

We all sit here
Giving not a thought of summer’s hot
Seeds drop here and there
We flutter about with what seems
Not a care
Blissful in winter’s coat
We peck and munch
No time to crack a silly joke.
Santa’s’ coming soon
We hear
But to him we don’t give a care
For we see him
Flying in
Bringing packages
None which
Are for me, you, I or him,
We just sit here
Eating seeds
Life’s good it appears
It seems.

Enjoying the moment
Enjoying the scene
All its well
And in some instances
Serene.
Blessed be this moment
This moment I’m in
Only me in this moment
And never to occur
Again.
