You hold me close
I seek
listen to your advice
the world seems small
within my grasp
when I follow
your quiet, beckoning call.
I may accomplish
what needs to be done
I may succeed
not unravel
become undone.
But that depends upon
my hearing your wise words
of
things happened
and
those yet to be heard.

Of life lived
And made better with dignity.
