Everyday I see something
That resembles twelve
Part of nature, earth, sky
The clouds.
Breathing in, breathing out
Spectacular
as I turn
Whirl about.
Maybe tomorrow
I’ll understand, take it all in
Then tell the rest of the world
What it’s all about.

Making way for another day
Forcing nothing
Living by the rules
Set in my head the other day.
Merry, happy I’ll trudge
Thru the falling snow
Breathing in, letting out
All thoughts gone wrong, bad
In yesterday’s head.

Don’t make me the one
Don’t make me
Fall from grace
Have no fun
Don’t make me the only one
For the flowers speak
The waters wave and the trees bow
Knowing they too
Don’t want to be this one.

One day will all go away
not sure why, not sure how
but gone, gone away
in the future, like the past
someday
this day will become
that day.

Caught in the midst
of
all I see
drifting
with the spirit that
guides me.
When my destination
comes into view
will I stand or run
or
will I
wait for you?

I am the one
Who saves my life
The one who guides me
Thru the strife.
I am the one
No need to guess
Still I know, I need not think
I’m alone
And hopelessly guideless.
I am the one
But at my side, in front of me
Has my back, my destiny
A soul so strong, so kind to me
Shows me right and that that’s wrong.
I am the one
Who chooses my each and every way
Thou I know that kind soul
Guides me all through the day.

Race and run
Trick or treating
Oh, such fun.
Tomorrow they’ll be
Just too full
From eating many
Many tasty treats.

To be in this world

Cascading down
Onto dying, cold
Hard ground.
Life begins
Lives
Then passes away.
That is how life lives
From the beginning
Now
And in all
The coming days.
