When I know the reason why I cry
I will cry the song of long ago
The one each and everyone does know
The song that fills the sky
With wonders no one can deny
Lives beneath the earth
In our hearts and all creatures
That walk the earth.
When I know the reason why
Why I cry, I cry.

We are lucky, we are trained
To live life as if we’re not insane.
No one knows for sure
Nor has one the right
To live life thinking
All will be perfect, be alright.
Take the misery
The sadness and the lame
Take them to a happy place
Or leave them
For someone else to claim.
No heart is pure
Without regret
No life is lived
Without some sadness put into it.
We are lucky, we are trained
To live life as if we’re not insane

Watch it unfold
Like a movie reel.

To carry on
To make the most

Regardless
Of which thought
Is thought the most.

Has been rolled back
Slowly, so slowly light creeps
Into the day
Til the sun shines bright
Giving light, lighting each way
To everyone, everything
Each and everyday.

Had a dream today
All my problems they just floated away
No need to agonize
No time to feel remorse
Immersed in happiness my course
Set far from sadness
Can’t remember any heart retching tale
Only gladness on this happy trail.

So much is required
So little to give
Delve deep down
Deep down and dig.
Bring forth all that’s buried
Dig down and live.
Live in the moment
Not in the past
Dig down find the way
That gives joy now
Dig down, dig deep
Nothing required
Except to live.

Nothing lost for that is love.
Holding close, holding tight
Living in it’s radiance tonight.

Keep that, those you care for

Never ever, despair.

The way is not so clear.

Or move forward
So to be near

Dark of night enveloping
With mighty might
Crossing over land
Thundering
Making creatures cringe
While most don’t understand.
Here I am
Waiting, watching, listening
Holding on
As the coming storm
Keeps coming on.
