Waiting to hear
the voice say words
I need to hear
Each
Each and every day.
Emotion comes in
Filling my heart with tenderness
Leaving no room
For hatred or anger
To stay.
May I hear and say
Those words
Then give them all away
To ones that need

The awful feelings I felt
Way back then.
Let them be good, be great
Let them give me safety
Solace.

Radiate
Kindness and love.
Let me take all of this with me
As I move through life
The coming year, the day

The world turns, it goes
Then comes back around
No breath is taken
Except on its sacred ground.
The future is hidden
The past is the past
Nothing now will forever
Last.
Turning slowly, turning fast
The world is ours
Hold on
It’ll be a blast.

That girl has gone
Past away
Only one left is an old lady
Living in yesterday
Her smile says
I know who I am
I know where I came from
For what I stand
She doesn’t need to say
Anything else
For those that are near her
Love her
Know she loves them
That way
She understands that young girl
Didn’t die
She lives within her heart, her mind
Giving all as she did
When she walked the land.

Nor
Do they stay
Close to destruction
No, not in anyway.
Try to resurrect
The old, the traditional way
But
Sometimes
It’s best to let it lay.

Feeling
It all the time
Nestled deep in my heart
Beating love
With
Each stroke of time
In rhythm, in rhyme.

Who I can revere
Smile, laugh at
From now to eternity
Let my emotions
Flow with cheer
Keep a smile upon my face
Even in times
That are so hard, so severe
I must not
Believe in trouble or hardship
See, be the light
That guides lost souls to their own
Lofty atmosphere.

Things of beauty

Disgusting things
They are kept
Well within
Inside of each
Brought forth
Out
Only to review

To teach.
