For all I know
It could be not a thing
In a abyss of something.
For all I know
I’m not here.
For all I know
This is a dream
I’ve dreamt before.
But who keeps score
No one
For all I know.

I go to write
Listening for the words to form
Pictured in my mind they come
They take their form
On the page they rest
Now said, now wrote.
I thank the presence
That brought them to my mind
Formed the thoughts to convey
And then
Without another word
Quietly slipped away.

I haven’t got the answer
Don’t know what is the fight
But standing, hands on hips
Feet planted on the ground
Ready to fight and stand
Stand my ground.
Fight for
What I know is good
And what I know is right
Guess that’s my answer
Guess that’s my fight.

May the trees survive winter
Blossom in the spring
Sending forth life
Giving all, nourishing.
May the sun rise in the morning
Rest asleep at night
To come up the next morning
Bringing warmth, love
And fields of waving buttercup delight.
May the seeds dropped in fall
Spring, rise, growing tall
Spreading roots out for nourishment
Leaves reaching up, growing
Til the fall.
May the wind blow breezes
Both strong or gentle
And then not at all.
May they bring on currents
Moisture, rain to quench
The thirst of everyone
Everyone, everything and all.
May, may we live
May we live us all.

Spring will come and be spectacular
Leaving behind winter cold and white
No more fighting for
Warmth in long days of brilliant sunlight
Can’t wait for you to arrive
To be basking in
Your freshness, beauty and majesty
All things alive.

Home is heart, heart is home
Speak softly
Let no one feel alone
Be together
Whether near or far apart
Act according
To the followings of your heart.

Wondering what I’m going to do
Travel back in time
Or make memories all anew
Finding it hard to let go
Of thoughts and judgements
I’ve had, they just stay
They won’t go.
Heart is full, heart is fine
But it must be considerate
Of those along the way I find
Never to berate
Nor say stinging things
Be good, gentle
Moderate everything.

I heard your heart beat
I saw your breath breathe
My fingers touched your lips
My hands caressed your feet.
As my soul touched yours
I knew, knew there was
No where else in this world
I need be or rather go.
