Total failure Is not an option I’m taking
Maybe drawbacks Maybe roadblocks on the path I’m creating
Still I’ll stay On my course, my dream My yearning
And When I arrive I’ll realize
That I’ve been here From The beginning. ~ Patrice

Patrice’s Art & Poetry Blog
I feel a heart beating
Here in my own heart
I feel a sadness blue
I know I’ve lost a time
When I lost
Lost you
Moved on
But every now and then
I think
And that’s when
I find myself
Missing you.~ Patrice

I write the words that come I see them in their entirety some are in colour others grey altogether they make the words I write I say.
Tomorrow they’ll be different they’ll say something I never thought of not til that instant when they came and I wrote wrote what they told me to say. ~ Patrice

Holy Smokes, Holy Cow The world it turns It revolves But Not around me No Not at all.
It may tomorrow Or The day after that And You know I’m not sure Where it turned Way far back.
The only thing I do know, I see Is that it turns And I take the ride The ride for free. ~ Patrice

Horrors be can’t take them away away from the head they stay mentally.
The body will heal but the spirit, the soul keep those things into eternity.
We know we must must let them go throw them away don’t let them crush your spirit your kind soul.
Today, just today let them go no more in your head to fester create dread let them go, let them go instead. ~ Patrice

Fingers trudge across the page feeling the paper’s texture smooth hardly any grain.
Will the pen fill the lines printed on this page or will it be vacant unused crumpled thrown away?
Fingers hesitate and then pick up trusty pen and say words that fill this page with all they want need to say. ~ Patrice

My heart aches
Surrounded by people who think me stupid
My heart aches
For these people have judged convicted me of dumb behaviour
My heart aches
At the moment I see no alternative it must be true I have no saving grace, no saviour
My heart aches ~ Patrice

Taking hold, making clear the world has become a place where no one hears the cries of those lost those that have disappeared
Bring them back, hold them dear for it is up to us to make our earth whole where everyone has a path can be heard and never again disappears. ~ Patrice
