I don’t write
I clear my head
of
the thoughts
swirling round
coming from those
that
are dead.
They need to say
to
ones alive
“I love you
I’ll help you through life
you will survive”
Sometimes
they’re kind
sometimes they’re sweet
sometimes though
they say
what needs to be said
to help
loved ones
get back up
on
their feet.
I thank them
for
coming
I appreciate they do
cause I too benefit
from
their words
that may be written
just for you.

Let me understand
the way the world turns
never
on demand
My heart may say
words that mean something
just today
tomorrow things will change
tomorrow
is
another day
Then
on that tomorrow
will I understand
how the world came to be
how it turns
and
where upon it
I do stand?

am I there
am I
everywhere?
I don’t see how
I am to be
here
there, everywhere
Then
I smell
the fruits of destiny
Then
I hear sounds
pounding
the Earth
deep, deep underground
I know, know then
I’m here
I’m there, I’m everywhere.

unholy shards
pierce my skin, my life

Still I climb

a glorious world

You don’t know me
you’ve never seen me
But
I know you
Your heart is
evil
filled with hate
taking advantage of
the weak, the vulnerable
those looking
for
someone great
But
Unfortunately
all they get is
what’s good for you
what lines your pockets
and
those you bought
those that will participate
in your killing schemes, your lies
your hate.
You don’t know me
I wish
I didn’t know you.
