Taking hold, making clear
the world has become
a place where
no one hears
the cries of those lost
those
that have disappeared
Bring them back, hold them dear
for it is up to us
to make our earth whole
where everyone has a path
can be heard and never again
disappears.

The sun shines bright in the morning light
birds sing
and
I can hear
the cricket’s song
sing.
The day is full of everything
and
along my way
I’ll find
my own song to joyfully sing.

But
Do they show
The world I’ll live in
Places I’ll go
Feelings I’ll feel?

The leaves turn brown from green
Last gasp of summer it seems
Leaving it’s presence on the ground
No more to be
Til the harsh winds of winter blow
And bring
A pleasant, delightful renewing spring.

Feeling the movement
feeling
the love
Moved to emotion
blanketed
in love
Vowed to protect
forever
with love .
Maybe tomorrow
I’ll see more to be done
thinking, believing
in love.

We have seen the unholy light
Glaring red on the darkest night
No reprieve, no delight
Misery, forgotten mercy
No saviour
Til the morning light.
Then there, the beauty unfolds
It’s saving grace holds
Helping those
Lost, misplaced
Keeping safe, shielding life
Protecting all that see
Her holy light
We have seen the unholy light
We have gone beyond it’s fierce grip
To bask in love all the loving day
Protected
Throughout the darkest night
Til rising, morning light.
