Heaven is

Heaven gives
To those that need

Seeking answers
Trying to find
My way through
The sadness
I feel here in my mind.
Rain cries tears
From
My mournful eyes
My lips form words
I hope won’t make me cry.
And my feet
My feet run
As fast as they can
From the hurt, anger
I know, I feel
I have.
The only thing left
Is for me to abide
Hopefully tomorrow
The sun will shine
And
The only blue
will be in the skies.

Then far away
My thoughts travel
Travel
Throughout the day.
I wonder
Will they be right?
Will they say the truth
Or
Will they lie?
Will they protect
The ones I love
Make them laugh
Not
Make them cry?

Seems
No one is listening
To what I say.
Let it go, let it be
Resting in the knowledge
I am here, I am all
I have to be.

Destitute
Far from where I want to be

Trusting I’ll find my way
No matter where the path may lead

Dropped between

Does answer

Will always be
Bringing good, leaving bad to be
Somewhere
That can’t hurt one lonely soul
Who needs comfort
Love and security.

I hold you dearly
Singing songs of love
So clearly
Cherished by those that hear
The melody
Quietly
I say words that hold you close
Words of wisdom for love

I love you
Oh so much, the most
Quietly
I walk away
Never looking back
Never saying
Or
Waving goodbye
Quietly
I disappear from your life
For
You have learned
All that’s needed.

To get me through the day.
Hope that all the bad
Will disappear like yesterday.
Hope I have the strength
To stand tall and say.
I am good
I am the best
I am all I need
