Snow falls light
in the morning sunlight
birds feed and fly
squirrels run and glide
thru trees
way, way up high.
No one knows
what this day will bring
when birds sing, squirrels call
and
winter melts into spring.

I’ve seen a light
to guide me thru the darkest
most treacherous night.
It’s beam radiates truth
love and light
holding my heart, my hand
my sight.
Trusting in it’s glowing light
I make it to the morning
the glorious morning light.
