I may be
Happy
I will be
When I see you dancing
all around
me
Your voice will sing
a song
of ecstasy
Your heart will comply with beats
I feel inside
me
Your feet, your feet
will move
in such a happy way
Your eyes will see
me
no longer sad
nor lonely
Only filled
with the deepest love
now
that you’re here
you’re holding
me.

I don’t write
I clear my head
of
the thoughts
swirling round
coming from those
that
are dead.
They need to say
to
ones alive
“I love you
I’ll help you through life
you will survive”
Sometimes
they’re kind
sometimes they’re sweet
sometimes though
they say
what needs to be said
to help
loved ones
get back up
on
their feet.
I thank them
for
coming
I appreciate they do
cause I too benefit
from
their words
that may be written
just for you.

The waves roll in

back out again
bringing with them
a message from overseas

you sent just for me

say words of love

on the wind
over water, overseas
to you with love
