I don’t know
What the heart doesn’t care
Buried in messed up
I sip from a cracked, broken cup
Tears run
My heart weeps
For the love, the mystery
That wasn’t mine
To keep.

Sitting quietly
Sitting
Just to be
No angry, no rushing
Not now, not me.
When the weather
changes
And storms blow fiercely
I’ll move, I’ll seek shelter
Til once again I can sit
Quietly.

Will you be my lover
Will you be
Will passion come between us
Will it be, will it be?
No mouth desires you
As much as mine
No arms hunger more
For ours to enfold, intwine
Will it be, will it be?
Questions asked
Answers yet to be told
Will you be my lover
Will it be, will it be?
I need to know.

No one else can say those words
Nor make it right
That all will come when you see
The shinning light
Then
You’ll watch it disappear
Into
The dark, dark night.

When the rains fell down
The sky was blue
Feeling all the misery
That’s come to you.
Tears of sadness
Heartache blue
Rains fell, not only crying
But to comfort you.

I have done what I need to do
No one else can make
This journey for me
Neither he, she or you.
My heart aches
That you don’t know
This to be true.
But then what do I know
About your journey
That journey, like my journey
You’re travelling too.

Sun bursting out
Flying by
Bright light high
High in the sky.
No one asks
No one can deny
Where and
The reason why.
The sun came
To give life, give light
In our
Very own sky.

You know I can’t tell you
The secret to your success
It’s hidden beneath, inside
Your very own chest
The secrets will hide
The truth not told
Til you accept
All you’ve been given
All you behold.

Clouds thunder
Rain parts cloudy sky
No sunlight hits a silent ground.
Lighting strikes fear in a heart
Brought to a sudden
Wakening start.
Rain drops on a tin roof
A pinging ring in the midst of a world
Filled with all this thundering sound.
Life and breathe are brought
Given to a earth parched
Thirsting for that thundering, lighting
Rain sound.
