The world is full of hate
Will it ever

Dissipate?
It festers, boils, multiplies
Spreading over
All sweet innocence
Kindness
Is
Denied
My heart cries
Weeps for the world
So full of anger
Steeped
In
Hate.
Please take it
Make it be
Not
Of this world
Not for us, for you, nor me.

Dreams
Remembered of another place
Trying to correct wrongs done
In that other time, that other place
No help
Can be strong enough
No help to carry me away
From that sad, sad place
Today.

Living life as best
They can.

In every crack and cranny.

Life is good
The sun shines bright
In a blue, blue sky
Troubles do unfold
But don’t make us sad
Make us cry
For we have one another
We are strong
We will survive.

it uplifts

generous
full of love for all beasts, fowl
the giving earth

the deep blue sky.
