They thought
I was crazy
they thought I was nuts
I heard laughter, jeering
silence
smirks that did suck.
From there I went forward
farther than most
believing in my worth
holding tight to that dream
I brought to fruition
this life
I hold close.

For the knowledge
left behind

it was good
in it’s

What a person you’ve become
