Birds do sing
the sun does
shine
the world turns
lost
in
endless time
The song they sing
sounds
through the valleys
echos out
to
sunny skies
Where birds
fly
stars twinkle
and
I laugh, I cry
seeing
with
wondrous eyes.

Now grown
we walk together

all our planning

The Light

we made it

for
we are together

I surmise
to be
awful
to
my seeing eyes
Tomorrow when
I open up
my eyes
see the beauty, the wealth
in
all the clouds
the skies
Then I’ll know
I don’t have
to
really close
my eyes
For that beauty
is
all around
whether
they are closed or open
to
these
my seeing eyes.
