See the beauty in all you survey
Let no small thing be overlooked

In a life lived with gratitude

surrounding my heart
Let me see beauty
in the world static or moving freely
Let me embrace tenderly and with care
all those I see filled with grief or despair
Let me know when to be still
and when to move like a lighting bolt
Let me, let me be in all
this I hold, feel, see and care.

Dark and dismal is not the way
Open up, laugh and sing
Chase the gloomy clouds away
Bask in the sun filtering thru
Release your heart
See the beauty coming
Through.

When I think of what I’ve done
I wonder how this could be?
I’m a mortal, no one special
But still I see this beauty
Coming from within of me.
Then I realized
That God has given me
All that I am
All that I can be.
He does this with us all
The sunset, the whispering tree
Even that nasty insect
Which bit me on my knee.
God is within us all
And I’m glorified to know
He’s forever within of me.
